In this episode, we're diving into a topic that can be a game-changer for your online course business: the five steps to a $5K launch. These steps will help you feel prepared and confident as you launch your online course--you will be set up for success from the very beginning!

Step 1: Choose a profitable course idea

Before you think about launching, you need to make sure you have a really great course idea. If you need help with this, check out this episode of the podcast where I go over my exact process to find a profitable course topic.

If your course idea doesn't resonate with your audience, your launch won't go as planned. Make sure you have a solid idea before you try to sell it to anybody.

Step 2: Build your audience

You can't launch to an audience of zero. It's not a "build it and they will come" situation. So, how do you build your audience? I always recommend building an email list.

An engaged and nurtured email list is the number one predictor of online course success. You can always use other platforms like social media or YouTube, but an email list will be the most important way to engage with your audience.

Step 3: Create and irresistible offer

You've got your course idea, and you're building an audience. Now it's time to package your course in an irresistible way.

In 2023, there's no room for just-okay offers. Focus on showcasing how your course provides the transformation your audience desires quickly and easily. Don't overwhelm potential customers with the quantity of content in your course; focus on the quality and the results they'll achieve.

Step 4: Add urgency

We all need a little push sometimes, right? You want to create a real, non-slimy sense of urgency to give your potential customers a reason to buy now.

You can do this by setting deadlines, offering limited-time bonuses, or announcing a price increase after a specific date. The key is to give people a reason to make a decision rather than procrastinate.

Step 5: Find a mentor

Finally, find a mentor who has been successful in creating an online course. Learning from someone who has achieved what you want to achieve will be a game-changer.

There are so many experts out there to learn from. Investing in a mentor will save you time, money, and frustration in the long run.

Remember, building a successful course takes effort, but with the right steps and a little guidance, you can have a launch that's both profitable and incredibly rewarding!
